if it mimics the buttons of a playstation controller perhaps they can be remapped? not sure how to go about doing that. or perhaps I'm on a different firmware version. the only buttons that worked for me were the directional buttons. Read this a few weeks ago and just found the dongle for mine in drawer. Pressing the directional parts of the ring, and center worked for me, but nothing else. I actually got a chance to try it with mine (found it in a box in the basement that wasn't unpacked since we moved) Unfortunately, nothing happened when I tried any of the buttons for the Nyko. I also mashed some of the buttons on the remote itself to see if anything would happen. I plugged it into the USB port on my Fire TV and went into settings - the dongle does not even show up as a connected device.

Unfortunately, the Nyko BluWave IR remote for PS3 does not work. I just set up my Amazon Fire TV this past weekend. Other than connecting it and pressing buttons is there any way to test?
